MLA Doda inaugurates blacktopping work, transformer and handover 60 desks | KNO

DODA,NOV 23 (KNO) : Giving pace to the development activities, MLA Doda Shakti Raj Parihar today visited Khellani block of Doda constituency and inaugurated blacktopping work of Khellani to Pul Doda road and inaugurated 250 KV transformer at Khellani and also handover 60 desks to Govt Hr Sec School Khellani out of his constituency Development Fund . Speaking on the occasion, MLA said that the financial package announced by the Central Government for the development of the State which includes works pertaining to improvement of roads, National and State highways, electricity, water supply, education sector, health sector so on, shows the commitment of the BJP led Central Government towards development of J&K.He further said that the works which have been stalled due to negligent attitude of the previous Congress Government in Doda constituency have been taken up on priority and the people of Doda will see a massive infrastructural change in the coming time and witness positive developments like tourist spots for special tourist attractions, model Bus Stand and upgraded parking facilities. Parihar said that this time no compromise will be done with the quality of work and special care will be taken in its execution. He maintained that the works of roads, left pending due to change in weather conditions, have started and these works will complete in a stipulated time in order to provide best quality of roads to the public.MLA said that it is coalition Government’s commitment to provide road connectivity to every nook and corner of the State besides providing basic amenities to the people at their doorsteps. Those who were accompanied with MLA included BJP District Vice presidentPuri Singh Rana , Mandal Pradhan Khellani Rajinder Singh Rakwal and others . However MLA Doda was given rousing reception by local people on his arrival at Khellani and people also shouted slogans in his favour (KNO)
